Using my digital calipers tiles measure 4.29″ wide on the self-spacing lugs and .31″ thickMeasures 4.26″ wide on the square edge. These tiles have self-spacing lugs; little bumps on the edges that separate the tiles for grouting.These tiles were made in the1950’s -1980’s Using a Vintage American Olean tile chart: Cobalt Blue #345 These New Old Stock Tiles have a matte type glazed with a textured finish…called crystalline glazed by the maker.Imprinted on back of tiles is: American or A O with numbers & made in USA. Up for auction ..in this auction..are TWO Vintage Buckwheat colored …basically tan with darker specks or flecks .Vintage Bathroom Ceramic tiles…..made in the USA by American Oleander an Armstrong Company …These are what are left from a huge box..there are 7 available …they are for the edge ..one side is rounded…..there are two squares left…and one additional tile that has an inch cut off one side and then two smaller corner edging pieces that are 2″ squares.
