Hemway Ready Mixed Fix & Grout ANTI-MOULD 2.5L 4.5KG Premium Long Lasting Non-Fading Pigment Colour Our interior ready mixed grout is made from the highest quality acrylic. It’s waterproof, mould resistant and perfect for glazed wall tiles, mosaics, slate, porcelain, limestone and travertine. Not suitable for metallic detailed tiles or unglazed tiles where the grout could leave a stain. INSTRUCTIONS Why not try our hemway ready mixed glitter grout, or hemway glitter grout additive – add that sparkling touch to your grouting application. Ensure the tiles are firmly fixed and all grout joints are clean. With a flexible plastic trowel, press the grout into the joints to compact firmly. Work at a 45° angle across the joints. Use the trowel to remove all excess grout from the tiles. Use a slightly dampened scouring pad with the rough side down to remove all material from the surface of the tiles. Frequently wash the scouring pad. Use the sponge side of the pad to remove any film of polymer remaining and to smooth the surface of the joints. Allow the grout to dry for 2-4 hours, then use a slightly dampened scouring pad to remove any residue from the surface of the tiles. The wider and deeper the joints are, the longer the full curing time of the grout. It may be necessary to give the tile surface a final polishing after 24 hours with a dry cloth. As the material dries through water evaporation, it will skin on the surface and keep the material beneath wet for much longer. Avoid subjecting the surface of the joint to water for at least 7 days. Notes The product contains an acticide to protect the grout. To maintain the appearance of the grout, Hemway recommend that the grout be cleaned at regular intervals with an antibacterial cleaner. Always test a small area of the tile prior to use to ensure that the tiles are not stained or scratched by application of the grout. Not suitable for satin matt, metallic detailed tiles or kitchen surfaces. Store unopened in cool, dry conditions. If stored correctly, this product has a 12 month shelf life. You assume all responsibility for the use and application of the Ready Mixed Grout. All times refer to site conditions of 20°C. These times will be increased at lower temperatures and elevated at higher temperatures. 2.5L FAQ Q: Do I have to apply in small batches?A: Hemway Ready Grout can quickly become hard once exposed to the natural environment, especially at high temperatures. We recommend that you apply in small batches and work slowly throughout your tiling project. Spread the grout onto a 3.5ft x 3.5ft area and shape the joints. Remember to clean each surface tile section before moving onto the next Q: Do I have to pay attention to the joints in-between the tiles?A: Ensure all the joints are completely filled with the grout. Push the mixture deep into all the in-betweens of your tiles. Remove any excess from your tiles by holding your float at 90(degrees) to the tiles and scraping across.
